Hello! I am Jami...a mom, a pediatric nurse, and a photographer.
Tiny Details Photography arose in 2017 from my blended passion of caring for babies, a desire for artistic creation, and my love of capturing magical moments in a photograph. My mission as a newborn photographer is to provide you with timeless photos that capture the details of your precious baby, as they grow and change ever so quickly. The images I have of my own children as newborns instantly bring back the memories...I can still feel the raw exhilaration, the intense exhaustion, and the roller coaster of emotions brought by pregnancy and new motherhood. I can even smell the sweet scent of my brand new baby as I look at those portraits. I want to help YOU to remember those details of your own little one!

I know how overwhelming it can be to choose a newborn photographer. I have been a pediatric nurse at Primary Children's Hospital for over 26 years, and I can assure you that your baby's safety and comfort is my very top priority. My studio is stocked not only with the most beautiful newborn outfits, props, backdrops, and wraps, but also the everyday necessities that a newborn may need such as diapers, wipes, individually wrapped pacifiers, burpcloths, etc. You will be able to sit back and relax as I work with your sweet baby. Even my past photography clients rave about the experience and how easy it was!

During my career as a nurse, I have seen the most amazing miracles and triumphs...children conquering cancer, incredible recoveries from traumatic accidents, or surviving and thriving after severe prematurity or birth defects. I have also had the rare privilege of helping children and families through the most tragic and horrific time of their lives, often guiding families through the unimaginable pain of saying goodbye to their child. What do these families treasure most? PHOTOS. Details of their child, capturing every precious moment...an investment you will never regret. These little moments captured in a photograph will provide families with not only memories, but will tell that child's story to future generations.
Of all the roles I play in my life, being a mom is the most important (and by far the most difficult!). My husband Travis and I have been married for almost 18 years, and we are doing the best to raise our two beautiful precocious children, Anna (15) and Evan (8).
Some other random facts about me:
-I was a ballerina for 20 years. Always an artist, and that comes out in my custom designed photography.
-I am a HUGE fan of gymnastics, particularly collegiate gymnastics.
-I LOVE Broadway musicals!
-Working graveyard shifts for over 27 years, my guilty pleasures are Coke Zero & caramel lattes
